Diane Fritsch

Title: Founder/Director

Diane's personal experience with grief began at age seven after losing her mother in an accident. Excessive loss has occurred throughout her life including grandparents, friends and her first spouse to a variety of health and accidental reasons. This experience led Diane to develop Camp Carey in an effort to help children and adults begin the healing process through a Christian based program in a mountain camp setting.

Mary Steinkamp

Title: Director of Volunteer Services

Mary has served extensively with a variety of organizations throughout the Denver Metro area in the capacity as Volunteer Coordinator. Mary has extreme passion for children dealing with the issues of grief and grief recovery.

Janet M Buntrock, MA, LPC, FT

Janet has been a Pastor, Counselor, Chaplain and Educator. Currently, she is the pastor of a small congregation in Aurora, CO; Janet has a private counseling practice in Littleton, CO and works for both Colorado Christian University and Denver Seminary as an instructor, grader or researcher. She regularly teaches in the area of Grief and Loss and has spoken at a number of retreats.

Rebecca Matson , M.A., L.P.C., N.C.C.

As a Christian counselor with a background in early childhood and elementary education, Rebecca has over 25 years experience working with children. She has been on staff at Grace Counseling for 9 years and serviced 100's of clients in that time. Rebecca conducts educational and developmental testing and analysis and has extensive experience coordinating between the school and home environments. Addressing developmental, emotional, spiritual, and familial issues with children and adolescents, Rebecca utilizes play therapy, art analysis, sensory input, and individual and family systems approaches in her counseling.

Katharine Napolitano

Title: Pastor of Children's Ministry, Greenwood Community Church/Camp Chaplain and Church Liaison

As a pastor in the Denver Metro area, Katharine has a shepherd's heart for children and desires to do all she can to equip parents as the spiritual leader in the home. In addition to her church service, Katharine has extensive background as an outdoor educator and naturalist serving with organizations including the Orlando Science Center and in overnight camps. She has over twenty years of experience with children from infants to graduating seniors.

Gail Aitken

Title: Director of Public Relations

Gail served as Director of Equally Yoked Christian Singles for five years. She also initiated an educational program to teach Christian singles realistic expectations for dating and how to keep Christ as the focus in every Christian marriage. She did this through their Guest Speaker Program and monthly news letters. Gail also has an extensive background in child development. She was a supervisor at Hathaway Home for Children/Tujunga California, a residential treatment center for youth and adolescents. She assisted in designing and implementing group therapy. Gail has also been working toward a Masters Degree in Social Work.

Lisa Kautz

Title: Public Relations/Marketing Assistant

Lisa has extensive background in marketing and special events planning. Lisa worked as Membership Sales Representative at The Denver Athletic Club and Schlessman Family YMCA. Lisa also served as Activity Planner for The Hyatt Regency/Beaver Creek, CO. Her background also includes working with several Christian organizations in a number of different capacities:
